Why housing matters

Closer to school

Teachers who live on or near campus spend less time commuting and more time preparing lessons and supporting students after hours.

A place to belong

Shared housing builds a community of educators who can collaborate, mentor each other, and stay longer at the college.

Better outcomes

When teachers are settled and focused, students get more consistent teaching, extracurricular support, and role models on campus.

Safer campus for students

When teachers live on campus, there is a stronger adult presence after hours. That extra supervision and care helps students feel safer and more supported.

More time for students

Teachers who live nearby spend less time on the road and more time on lesson prep, extra classes, and being available when students need them.

Teachers who stay longer

Good housing helps the college attract and keep strong teachers. Students benefit from experienced educators who know the school and stay year after year.
